NAO Server
Self-hosted control and data governance
NAO® Server is the self-hosted version of NAO® Cloud, designed for customers and partners who require full control over infrastructure resources, data governance and system operations. By deploying Pole Star services on NAO® Server, organizations eliminate dependency on public cloud environments and retain complete ownership of their deployment.
This approach is particularly suited to regulated, sensitive or security-constrained environments where data sovereignty and local control are mandatory.
Advanced maintenance and operational control
Deploying the NAO® Suite through NAO® Server provides access to advanced maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities. These include enhanced logging, service restart mechanisms and version rollback, enabling operational teams to manage the platform with greater autonomy and responsiveness.
NAO® Server is delivered as a bundled installation package and relies on standard container-based technologies. Detailed and up-to-date prerequisites are documented in the NAO® Server installation guide, including compatible versions of Docker Engine (Compose V2) and supporting tools such as AWS CLI when required.
Version management and support policy
Customers and partners are expected to keep their NAO® Server deployment reasonably up to date. Support may not be provided for issues related to versions older than the last four public releases.
This policy ensures platform stability, security and compatibility with the evolving components of the NAO® Suite, while allowing organizations to benefit from continuous improvements and fixes within a controlled, self-hosted environment.
