A global competitiveness cluster devoted to design, creation and control of complex systems.
Pole Star has been involved in the « Security and Defense » aspect of the System@tic cluster, providing the latter with key expertise in the field of indoor navigation and localization. By collaborating with the main actors in the Security and defense market, operatives and user communities, Pole Star has established a close link between expressed needs and solutions designed, developed and implemented.
Pole Star has also contributed to the MOBISIC project certified by the cluster.
MOBISIC has demonstrated the industrial feasibility of a mobile, modular security system that is fast to implement and is used to ensure the security of one-off special events or to intervene during local crisis situations.

Pole Star is a founding member of Aerospace Valley and an active member in the strategic area of Navigation Positioning Telecommunications. Pole Star provides expertise in indoor localization and through the cluster has access to the embedded software and satellite navigation regional expertise network.

cess to an extensive panel of very high level expertise and competence.
Within the scope of its R&D, Pole Star contributes to many projects certified by the cluster including:
FILONAS : integration of an indoor geolocalization service into an intervention assistance program for firefighters and civil security applications to improve the safety of operations inside buildings.
BéA : Using indoor geolocalization to monitor ill or physically dependent people.
Club Galaxie
Pole Star is a member of the Galaxie business club, which since 2006 has been based in Toulouse. The aim of the club is to promote the development of professional relationships between members and to help grow the image of Toulouse, the region and in particular the main scientific and cultural actors in the space sector. Club Galaxie especially focuses on the issues of usage and applications.
