2002: Creation of Pole Star: technological innovation in action
2004: Pole Star’s innovative capacity earns public approval

2008: A breakthrough year: major new developments
April: Pole Star presents the Beta version of NAO-Campus®. This is the first technology that allows 3D localization and navigation inside buildings. NAO-Campus® is used for professional applications, in particular for personnel safety, as well as consumer applications providing improved mobility and accessibility.
May: Pole Star increases its capital to finance development and growth. Avenir Finance Gestion invests in the company along with several individual investors.
December: The NAO-Campus® solution integrated into mobile devices is sent to firefighters in Chongqing, China to improve their safety during operations in high risk buildings.
2009: Security. NAO campus is implemented professionally for the first time
June: NAO-Campus® is implemented in an underground parking lot for the SDIS (the Fire and Rescue Department) in the Haute Garonne (31 – France)
2010: The LBS Market. Wide-scale implementation of NAO Campus
May: NAO-Campus®, compatible with ANDROID operating system is presented to the European market
June: the first sites are covered by NAO-Campus® in the US (shopping centers)
July: Pole Star is invited by Google to present NAO-Campus® to the community of ANDROID developers at Mountain View in California (Head office of Google).
December: + 500 000 m2 is covered by NAO-Campus® indoor localization service in the world.
